Imagining an eye-catching and versatile animated identity for MAD, the video media dedicated to fashion


Distributed exclusively in video form on social networks, MAD defies conventions and offers a modern, diverse and striking approach to fashion. NŌBL was asked to devise a malleable animation system reflecting the magazine’s editorial tone.


NŌBL created an animated media library, built around the key elements of the MAD identity. The logo and typography are complemented by 3D imagery inspired by the digital format of the magazine. This approach is showcased in a title sequence based on a series of modular visual compositions mixing elements from all the source materials (logo, typographies, 3D). The result is vibrant and cutting-edge, reflecting the innovative and creative nature of the magazine.
