Secours Populaire Français

A summer holiday to remember
Giving every child a story to live

Context

Every year, Secours Populaire gives thousands of children the chance to go on holiday.
A precious break for those who rarely get the opportunity.
The goal of this campaign was to capture one of these moments through a child’s perspective: a first summer by the sea, filled with emotions, discoveries, and freedom.

The film needed to convey the power of these simple moments that become defining memories for a child.

Solution

We chose an intimate approach, letting Nora recount her holidays in her own words, carried by her boundless imagination.

As the story unfolds, the film gently drifts into her dreamlike world: she becomes a mermaid, a sand volcano comes to life, a castle rises into a kingdom.
To reflect this perception, the animation embraces a deliberately childlike style: trembling lines, overflowing colours, a tactile, living texture.

A simple, human aesthetiC, reminiscent of the drawings children bring back from summer and the raw energy of their imagination.
Through this poetic storytelling, we highlight one of Secours Populaire’s essential missions: giving every child a story to live.
